簡介
在山西大同下華嚴寺的薄伽教藏殿內,靜靜地佇立著一尊合掌露齒脅侍菩薩。這尊菩薩造像可以說是久負盛名。1964年郭沫若先生參觀後為之題詞:“下華嚴寺薄伽法藏塑像乃926年前故物,比例合乎自然表情特別生動,餘以為較太原晉祠聖母殿塑像為佳,誠為不可多得之藝術作品宜盡力加以保護。”鄭振鐸先生也曾這樣盛讚薄伽教藏殿:“簡直是一個博物館。這裏的佛像,特別是倚立著的幾尊菩薩像,是那樣的美麗。那臉部、那眼睛、那耳朵、那雙唇、那手指、那赤裸的雙腳、那婀娜的細腰,幾乎無一處不是美的製造品,最漂亮的範型。倚立著的姿態,嬌媚無比啊,不是和洛夫博物館的Venus De Melo(米羅斯島的維納斯)有些相同嗎?”
下華嚴寺的薄伽教藏殿為遼代建築。“薄伽”是梵語,譯為“世尊”,是佛的十大稱號之一,意為佛有萬德,於世獨尊;“教藏”是指佛教經典;“薄迦教藏”就是佛教藏經的殿堂。薄伽教藏殿建於遼重熙七年(1038年),麵(mian)寬(kuan)五(wu)間(jian),進(jin)深(shen)四(si)間(jian),建(jian)築(zhu)結(jie)構(gou)嚴(yan)謹(jin),形(xing)製(zhi)穩(wen)健(jian)。薄(bo)伽(jia)教(jiao)藏(zang)殿(dian)殿(dian)內(nei)塑(su)像(xiang)的(de)布(bu)列(lie)是(shi)以(yi)間(jian)為(wei)鋪(pu),三(san)間(jian)即(ji)三(san)鋪(pu),每(mei)一(yi)鋪(pu)各(ge)自(zi)設(she)置(zhi)主(zhu)佛(fo)一(yi)尊(zun),兩(liang)側(ce)有(you)弟(di)子(zi)和(he)脅(xie)侍(shi)菩(pu)薩(sa)和(he)供養菩薩。中間一鋪計七尊塑像,兩邊各九尊。佛壇的四個角落分別塑造了護法四大天王威武屹立,整個大殿內共計29尊塑像。是我國現存遼代塑像最多的佛殿,也代表著遼代彩塑的藝術高峰。
整體布局
我們先看南邊開間所陳列的九尊塑像,壇上後部當中為彌勒佛,兩(liang)側(ce)前(qian)後(hou)脅(xie)侍(shi)菩(pu)薩(sa)五(wu)尊(zun),左(zuo)邊(bian)兩(liang)尊(zun),右(you)邊(bian)三(san)尊(zun)。這(zhe)五(wu)尊(zun)站(zhan)立(li)的(de)脅(xie)侍(shi)菩(pu)薩(sa)皆(jie)麵(mian)如(ru)滿(man)月(yue),圓(yuan)潤(run)而(er)扁(bian)平(ping),下(xia)巴(ba)甚(shen)小(xiao),頭(tou)梳(shu)高(gao)髻(ji)並(bing)戴(dai)花(hua)冠(guan),身(shen)姿(zi)瀟(xiao)灑(sa),神(shen)情(qing)嫻(xian)雅(ya)。北(bei)側(ce)三(san)尊(zun):後hou兩liang尊zun與yu南nan側ce對dui應ying,大da致zhi相xiang似si,隻zhi是shi衣yi服fu色se澤ze存cun在zai變bian化hua和he差cha異yi。最zui前qian麵mian一yi尊zun即ji我wo們men所suo說shuo的de合he掌zhang露lu齒chi菩pu薩sa。在zai大da殿dian所suo有you菩pu薩sa造zao像xiang中zhong,以yi這zhe尊zun合he掌zhang露lu齒chi脅xie侍shi菩pu薩sa形xing象xiang最zui為wei生sheng動dong,動dong勢shi最zui為wei強qiang烈lie,當dang然ran名ming聲sheng也ye最zui為wei顯xian著zhu。其qi像xiang高gao約yue2米,跣足立於蓮花台上,頭戴寶冠、梳有高髻、changbianfujian,jianzhepibo,shangshenweitan,xiongpeiyingluo,daiyoubichuan,xiazhechangqun,yishipiaodailiuchangziran。qititaifengyingshidu,quanshenzhongxinluozaizuojiaoshang,shentixiangyouniuzhuan,niaonaduozi,wanlidongren。zhengzunzaoxiangshenqingxianyi,ningjingdafang,tadetoubushaoshaoyouqing,shuangmuweizheng,xiangzuoxiafangxieni,qingqishuangchun,weiweierxiao,luchulebaixideyachi。shuangshouchenggongyuxiongqianzhuang,shouzhibanqubanshen,shangxiadiezhi,hezhangluchiweixiaodeshentaibiaoshizheduifofadelingwu,shizaishixiahuayansideliaosuzhongdezhenpin。
來源傳說
關(guan)於(yu)這(zhe)尊(zun)合(he)掌(zhang)露(lu)齒(chi)菩(pu)薩(sa),有(you)一(yi)段(duan)傳(chuan)奇(qi)。相(xiang)傳(chuan),遼(liao)代(dai)皇(huang)家(jia)崇(chong)信(xin)佛(fo)教(jiao),征(zheng)調(tiao)能(neng)工(gong)巧(qiao)匠(jiang)修(xiu)建(jian)華(hua)嚴(yan)寺(si)。有(you)個(ge)造(zao)像(xiang)出(chu)眾(zhong)的(de)工(gong)匠(jiang)不(bu)願(yuan)為(wei)皇(huang)家(jia)賣(mai)命(ming),惹(re)惱(nao)了(le)官(guan)府(fu)。總(zong)管(guan)以(yi)“違抗皇命”dezuimingjiangtatongdayidun,houyinzhongrenaiqiu,caishiqimianyugengdazaihuo。gongjiangnverdiannianlaofuqin,biannvbannanzhuangjiachonggongjiangdeerzi,qianlaizhaogulaofuqin,bingweihuangshiganhuo。tajianfuqinhegongjiangmensuzaofoxiangshikukusisuo,bianchangzaiyipanghuolihuozuo,zuochushuangshouheshi、閉目誦經的姿態為他們祈禱。工匠們受到啟發,便依著她的身段、動(dong)態(tai)塑(su)造(zao)修(xiu)飾(shi)。一(yi)天(tian),監(jian)工(gong)發(fa)現(xian)老(lao)工(gong)匠(jiang)的(de)活(huo)沒(mei)幹(gan)完(wan),就(jiu)令(ling)人(ren)痛(tong)打(da)他(ta)。就(jiu)在(zai)此(ci)時(shi),姑(gu)娘(niang)挺(ting)身(shen)而(er)出(chu)主(zhu)動(dong)承(cheng)擔(dan)責(ze)任(ren)。監(jian)工(gong)似(si)乎(hu)發(fa)現(xian)了(le)這(zhe)秘(mi)密(mi),便(bian)勒(le)令(ling)剝(bo)光(guang)其(qi)上(shang)身(shen)毆(ou)打(da)。眼(yan)看(kan)情(qing)況(kuang)就(jiu)要(yao)暴(bao)露(lu),她(ta)深(shen)情(qing)地(di)望(wang)了(le)望(wang)大(da)家(jia),莞(guan)爾(er)一(yi)笑(xiao),便(bian)縱(zong)身(shen)躍(yue)入(ru)鑄(zhu)鍾(zhong)造(zao)塔(ta)的(de)鐵(tie)水(shui)中(zhong)。老(lao)工(gong)匠(jiang)的(de)女(nv)兒(er)化(hua)為(wei)一(yi)朵(duo)白(bai)雲(yun),飄(piao)向(xiang)了(le)天(tian)空(kong)。工(gong)匠(jiang)們(men)記(ji)住(zhu)了(le)她(ta)臨(lin)去(qu)時(shi)的(de)露(lu)齒(chi)一(yi)笑(xiao),就(jiu)照(zhao)她(ta)生(sheng)前(qian)的(de)形(xing)體(ti)、姿態塑成一尊菩薩像,放在顯要位置,特別把那露齒莞爾一笑的情狀凝固於塑像之上。
這段淒美的傳說似乎正也解釋了這尊菩薩造像其獨特的美學特征。與其說她是一位得道的菩薩,倒不如說是一位秋水盈盈、yanranhanxiaodeshaonvxingxiang。sujiangjiangjifudezhigan,shenzhiyinyuedejizhuidelunkuodoubiaoxiandeyisibugou。suoyoutanludejifudoushunhuaerxini,youqishitaheshidexiuchangdeshuangshou,gengshiguifushengong,xianhuoshizai。
形象
從雕塑造型來仔細觀看這尊菩薩造像,可以發現無論正觀、側觀,塑像通身上下都體現著一種曲線的優美。自上向下正觀之,可以發現一條以脖子和胯部為拐點的反S形xing曲qu線xian,而er這zhe條tiao曲qu線xian同tong樣yang出chu現xian在zai菩pu薩sa的de背bei影ying中zhong,再zai深shen入ru觀guan察cha,可ke以yi發fa現xian,菩pu薩sa的de肩jian膀pang和he胯kua部bu並bing不bu在zai一yi個ge平ping麵mian裏li,而er是shi略lve微wei有you些xie傾qing斜xie。由you於yu菩pu薩sa的de胯kua部bu向xiang右you上shang方fang傾qing斜xie,因yin而er其qi右you臂bi較jiao左zuo臂bi便bian略lve顯xian鬆song弛chi,這zhe一yi點dian在zai菩pu薩sa的de雙shuang腿tui上shang有you更geng明ming顯xian的de表biao現xian,整zheng件jian塑su像xiang的de重zhong心xin並bing不bu是shi平ping均jun地di落luo在zai雙shuang腿tui上shang,這zhe樣yang的de處chu理li減jian少shao了le菩pu薩sa的de重zhong量liang感gan,使shi之zhi顯xian得de體ti態tai輕qing盈ying。從cong露lu齒chi菩pu薩sa通tong體ti體ti感gan變bian化hua的de角jiao度du來lai看kan,變bian化hua尺chi度du非fei常chang輕qing微wei,軀qu體ti和he諧xie自zi然ran,處chu理li巧qiao妙miao得de當dang。菩pu薩sa衣yi飾shi細xi節jie的de表biao現xian也ye十shi分fen精jing彩cai,緊jin隨sui其qi身shen形xing雕diao琢zhuo的de衣yi褶zhe而er起qi伏fu變bian化hua,薄bo薄bo的de輕qing紗sha軟ruan軟ruan地di貼tie在zai菩pu薩sa的de身shen上shang,勾gou勒le出chu柔rou美mei的de曲qu線xian,長chang長chang的de飄piao帶dai繞rao過guo腰yao肢zhi和he雙shuang臂bi卷juan曲qu著zhe輕qing輕qing地di落luo在zai腳jiao畔pan。細xi軟ruan輕qing妙miao,妥tuo帖tie自zi然ran,宛wan若ruo微wei風feng拂fu過guo,仙xian人ren下xia凡fan。《洛神賦》中有言:“其形也,翩若驚鴻,婉若遊龍,榮曜秋菊,華茂春鬆。仿佛兮若輕雲之蔽月,飄飄兮若流風之回雪。遠而望之,皎若太陽升朝霞:poerchazhi,zhuoruofuquchulubo。jiaxiandezhong,xiuduanhedu,jianruoxuecheng,yaoruyuesu。yanjingxiuxiang,haozhichenglu,fangzewujia,qianhuafuyu。yunjiee,xiumeilianjuan,danchunwailang,haochineixian。mingmoushanlai,yefuchengquan,guiziyanyi,yijingtixian。rouqingchuotai,meiyuyuyan。qifukuangshi,guxiangyingtu。piluoyizhicuicanxi,eryaobizhihuaju。daijincuizhishoushi,zhuimingzhuyiyaoqu。jianyuanyouzhiwenlv,yewuxiaozhiqingju,weiyoulanzhifangaixi,buchichuyushanyu”。全部用來形容和狀貌這尊合掌露齒菩薩的風神,皆不為過。
薄bo伽jia教jiao藏zang殿dian內nei的de彩cai塑su菩pu薩sa像xiang的de造zao型xing特te點dian應ying該gai是shi沿yan襲xi了le唐tang代dai的de審shen美mei風feng格ge,但dan又you有you明ming顯xian不bu同tong,具ju有you鮮xian明ming的de個ge性xing特te征zheng,這zhe些xie造zao像xiang的de腰yao和he兩liang臂bi塑su造zao得de較jiao長chang,麵mian相xiang寬kuan平ping,軀qu幹gan健jian美mei,豐feng潤run適shi度du,帶dai有you遼liao代dai少shao數shu民min族zu婦fu女nv的de一yi些xie體ti態tai特te征zheng。總zong之zhi,以yi合he掌zhang露lu齒chi菩pu薩sa為wei典dian型xing代dai表biao的de山shan西xi大da同tong下xia華hua嚴yan寺si薄bo伽jia教jiao藏zang殿dian內nei遼liao代dai彩cai塑su,堪kan稱cheng我wo國guo現xian存cun遼liao代dai彩cai塑su之zhi精jing華hua,令ling觀guan者zhe從cong中zhong可ke以yi感gan受shou遼liao代dai彩cai塑su的de造zao型xing風feng格ge、時代特征、民族特點和藝術成就。
